M. Erden Yıldızdağ, a faculty member in the Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, has been awarded a prize as part of the 2025 Young Scientist Award Program (BAGEP) by the Science Academy of Türkiye.

The BAGEP Awards are presented annually by the Science Academy to support young and talented researchers. The program encourages outstanding early-career academics to pursue innovative and socially impactful scientific studies. Selected researchers receive financial support for a period of two years, with the broader goal of strengthening the quality of scientific research in Türkiye.
