ITU AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) TEAM

ITU AUV TEAM, advised by our Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilge Tutak, received the 2^nd Prize and the Best Technical Presentation Award at the 10^th European Robotics League RAMI 2023 competition held in the open sea of NATO CMRE in Italy. In the competition, all the other participants graduate students. ITU AUV Team is the first ever Turkish team to participate in this competition.

Also, ITU AUV Team, which was accepted to the Singapore AUV Challenge SAUVC 2022 competition organized by Singapore Polytechnic University, became the team that won the world championship among 42 competitors from 19 countries. ITU AUV Team, which qualified for the finals by completing a task given on the first day of the competition consisting of two stages, in 15.02 seconds, won the first place by performing tasks such as "passing through the door", "dropping the ball", "receiving the ball" completely and correctly at this stage where there are more than one scoring criteria.
